HappyMappy.com was designed to provide free map services useful to visitor bureaus, chambers of commerce, and local/state/federal governments.

You can create your own interactive maps, showing some of our existing HappyMappy.com points that you select and/or points you create yourself. Use your maps on your own website. Free!

Only approved Map Editors are allowed to immediately change points on our maps, to insure the quality of our information. You can receive an invitation to become a Map Editor by clicking here to receive our occasional newsletter, which will also notify you whenever new features are added to our site.

 New Features Coming Will Let You...

  • Create interactive maps using some of our existing points or add your own.
  • Include maps on your web site.
  • Add new points to our main HappyMappy.com map instantly using our web editor.
    (Any public points you add we also send to Microsoft who uses our data for their search engine and map products.)
  • Add private points only visible to those viewing your maps.
  • Update our existing points. Change the description, label, location, address, phone, web site. Remove points no longer there.
  • Rank the points in your area, to make sure your most important places are displayed first when visitors use our maps.
  • Add and edit search tags on points, so users find them.
  • Add calendar events and photos to any points.
  • Map accurately using aerial photos to locate buildings or natural features, or using latitude/longitude from your GPS receiver, as well as by looking up street addresses.
  • Maps can be very detailed. Lookup “Disneyland” in HappyMappy.com and you’ll find hundreds of points, one for every ride and entertainment within the theme park. Lookup “Yellowstone National Park” and within it are hundreds of points showing geysers, waterfalls, trails, campgrounds, wildlife viewing places, and more.

 Examples For Using Our Maps

  • Visitor Bureaus can create an interactive map showing all your member attractions and activities.
  • Create theme maps showing one topic, like your Historic Sites, Arts, Entertainment, The Top 20 Attractions, etc.
  • Create an interactive driving or walking tour map showing points to see.
  • Map the best places to pursue any tag activity like bird watching, hiking, biking.
  • State parks can map all the features within every park, in addition to having a state map showing all the park locations.
  • National forests can map all points of interest within their boundaries. Trailheads, natural wonders, boat ramps, campgrounds, etc.
  • City recreation departments can map all park facilities, then tag parks with features, so users can find parks with a “playground” or "nature trail".
  • Map a trail showing all the trailheads/parking lots along the way.
